Back in the day, Sheryl and I used to work together at an office job downtown, however after she quit to pursue a career in Nursing, we lost touch until i received an email at the beginning of the year inquiring about our services. I think she was surprised to find out that it was me who answered her email :)

We were excited since it was a glorious October day and after meeting everyone at the rehearsal, we knew that it would be a great experience filming Sheryl and Jay. We will never forget the homeless man who showed up in the middle of the wedding, sat in the front pew and cried during the exchange of vows.

Overall, beautiful couple, great weather and even better friends. Had the chance to meet and chat with Ryan of RyanB Photography and his colleague, who did a fabulous job with the photos.

Nomer & Grace from Vertical Video Works on Vimeo.

We briefly met Grace and Nomer last year during another couple's wedding where they provided the music during the ceremony. Thank God we didn't creep them out for filming them a lot while they performed :) nevertheless, thanks to a mutual friend, they were able to track us down and contacted us to film their wedding.

From our very first meeting to discuss their wedding plans, it was evident that Nomer and Grace are a perfect match for each other. Grace is such a wonderful and happy person, not to mention an awesome singer as well. Nomer is a man of many talents, he plays wicked guitar and sing, can reformat your computer and turn around and fix a swimming pool. Thanks Nomer for giving me tips on how to properly look after my pool:)

Seriously though we had so much fun just hanging out with them and to top it off we had the privilege of shooting their engagement story and wedding. Kudos to Natalie of Dream Party Creations who did a fantastic job decorating the church and reception hall. Thanks so much Grace and Nomer for your trust in our team!

Scott + Marjorie - Wedding Day Highlight from Vertical Video Works on Vimeo.

Scott and Marjorie's wedding day went very well with the gorgeous weather, wonderful friends and great guests. Scott and Marjorie were married by one of their great friends, Brian, who delivered a fantastic service.

It was great working with Brian of Empire Photography who took everyone to an amazing farmer's field for a photo shoot. It was also fun filming around the golf course and trying to shoot the ring shots while trying to hole a putt ...without a putter ! Big kudos to the staff at St. Boniface Golf Club who were so accommodating to our numerous requests for Coke and Pepsi..(it was a hot day !)

Thanks so much Scott and Marjorie for the opportunity to film your wedding...and also for letting me hang your wedding dress on your neighbors tree :)

Georgi & Deji - Wedding Day Highlight from Vertical Video Works on Vimeo.

We had a wonderful time spending time with Deji and Georgi filming their engagement story and wedding over the summer. Words to describe Deji and Georgi ? Fun, Friendly and Good looking ! We were completely amazed by how their story unfolded and how they are indeed meant for each other. Score another one for Plenty of Fish! It was also nice meeting both of their families and friends . they were all so nice, accomodating and friendly that filming them was a great experience.

Eventhough the weather did not cooperate with a planned outdoor wedding, the staff at Breezy Bend made the place look amazing for both the ceremony and reception. Hats off to photographer Jerry Vergel and his team who did a wonderful job with the couple's wedding pictures...they are awesome!

It was great shooting this fun love story for Nomer and Grace and their entourage. The intent is to showcase the laughter and happiness in their relationship while at the same time reminiscing how they met and how the marriage proposal happened.

When we first heard Loralyn and William's story, we practically begged our friend (Mayelle) to ask them to book us to film their wedding and lovestory. Thank God they agreed :)

We were so thrilled to put their story on video and show the final cut during their dinner reception..
From asking my nieces and nephews to help me out to looking for a carnival in the city (found one in Charleswood), we had a blast hanging out with Loralyn and William... It's one of those things that is simply meant to be regardless of when, where and how. Congratulations! Now Loralyn has her own Prince William:)

Our 1st wedding of 2011...we just love shooting winter weddings ! It was fall of last year when they booked our services for their social and wedding day. We waited almost 4 months in anticipation of filming their big day..

From Gladifel's wonderful smile to Ralf's silent charm , you'll know that they are really crazy about each other... From all the weddings we've filmed, Ralf's vow stands out by far :) We're almost certain that Gladifel loved it... We saw that million dollar smile ! LOL !! Cheers to you guys !

A truly wonderful and heartfelt wedding. This was the first time that, while filming the ceremony, made us tear up. A big thank you to Pastor Fred who delivered a great ceremony . Our first 2010 wedding..Love was definitely in the air as Carrie and Nathan tied the knot on a mild winter day in March. You can tell by the way they looked at each other that they are meant to be together forever.

The church shoot offered a bit of a challenge with the placing of cameras (we had to ditch the 180' rule) but overall it was really a thrill to film and be a part of Carrie and Nathan's wedding memories.
